Game
Notes:
Woodys took the field trying to erase the loss on Wed. Again the bats were quiet at the start, and the glove were not as steady. Rockies quickly jumped out to a 9-0 lead after 2. Woodys held in the top of the 3rd, and came back with a 3 spot of their own. Things were starting to look up when the big inning happened. Like in the previous game, Woodys surrendered a big inning and allowed 7 runs to cross the dish. The boys keep their heads up and tried the rally. In the 5th, Woodys plated 4 runs while holding the Rockies to none. In the 6th it was a roll reversal as Woodys blanked the Rockies and then proceeded to plate 7 big runs. The rally fell apart at the end with Woodys losing by 2 runs. The comback was almost complete when the team again ran out of time. Team heart was on display as the boys could have easilly just packed it in and quit, and allowed the Rockies to take the game by run rule. But the team again showed heart and battled back. Billy Primo made his Woodys debut and started at 2nd base.
