Game
Notes:
Its a hot day in Courtenay and the Tigers lose 9-1. There are encouraging signs though. Curtis Wood comes up real big with a monster pitching performance, 3 hits, one run, no walks and seven big strikeouts in four innings. The defense is not bad, with only two errors, one by each pitcher. Kevin Ogborne comes up big again in right field with two assists on back to back plays, one at third and one at home. Marshall throws out a baserunner. The hitting is not strong, with only four hits. Emlyn, Marshall, Oggy and Wood all get one hit and one walk. In the first four games, Emlyn has six hits and three walks. But not enough offense from the others.
