Notes:
Game 1 of a DH (7 Innings): Bears Pitching Ace Chris Heiman took the Mound in Game 1, and was absolutely Untouchable through the first 6 Innings, Allowing only 2 Baserunners on 1 Hit and 1 Error. The Bears took a 3 to Zero Lead into the 7th and Final Inning, and that is where it all fell apart-The Normally reliable Bears Defense committed a Season High 7 Errors which Lead to All 6 Astro Runs, Suddenly The Bears Found themselves Down 3 Runs and Facing Astros Ace Carl Abramson. The Bears Managed to Pull together, and Score 3 Runs and tie the Game at 6-6. Heiman then Finished what he started and threw a 1-2-3 top of the 8th Inning. In the Bottom of the 8th inning with 2 Out Leadoff Hitter Dave Scaringe Singled Past Shortstop, He then Stole 2nd which Left it up to Mo Molina, Who Came through with a Hard Ground Ball that just "BEARLY" Tipped off of the Driving Shortstops Glove and Trickled into the Usually Long Outfield Grass, and Easily Scored the Always Hustling Scaringe with the 7th and Winning Run. |
