Notes:
Josh, still learning the ropes on the mound, allows 10 runs on 8 hits in the first two innings of play. Josh's command seemed to be the problem as he surrendered seven walks. Jeff Wiseman came in in relief and stymied the Claude's Esso offence through the last 5 innings of play. He struck out four batters, allowed just three hits, and did not allow a walk or a run. Jeff also led Rye's at the plate going 3-for-3, stroking two triples and a single, walked once, scored a run, and drove in a pair! |
