| Game Notes: This game was a lot closer than the 9-2 loss that the Thunder had to suffer through vs Hopkins. There was an inconsistent strike zone and two blown calls that went against the Thunder on defense that ended up costing the team 5 runs in the end. That and not coming up with the big hit or inning when we needed it was the difference in the game. Ryan "Party Planner" Heisler got the loss and battled hard for the Thunder but didn't have much to show for his efforts on the mound. Offensively the Thunder were able to accumulate 4 doubles, 1 each by Chris "Hunger Games" Casey, Jake "McLovin" Bechstein, Chris "Lancelot" Ferber and Brendan "WOLFMAN!" Kukowski. Finishing the week 2-1 isn't bad. The team is at it again next week Monday July 2nd at Eden Prairie! | ||||||||||
