Game 2 of a DH (7 Innings): In Game 2 The Astros, as Expected Started their Ace Carl Abramson, Whom the Bears Had Just Beaten in Game 1. Abramson Held the Shorthanded Bears (3 Bears had to Leave after Game 1) to 6 Hits and 1 Run through 7 Innings. Although the Bears consistantly put the Ball in Play, The Astros Defense was Solid. Infielder Dave Krunk Picked Up his first 2 Hits of the season, and Thomas Taylor went 1 for 1 with a Sacrafice Bunt, and Closed the Game by Pitching 1 2/3 Scoreless Innings of Relief on his 37th Birthday! |
