Game Notes: The second matchup between Blackhawk and Pec#1 would prove to be a much closer game than when the two teams met earlier in the season.

In the 1st inning, Blackhawk took a 3-run lead by capitalizing on a walk, hit batter, some wild pitches, and a double hit to right center field by Meythaler. But Pec's catcher, N. Gilbertson helped end Blackhawk's scoring drive when he threw out a runner trying to steal second base.

Pec's first batter of the game, D. Conwell would get the Vikings on the scoreboard after being hit by a pitch and later stealing second, third, and home on an error by the Blackhawk's catcher. But the score would remain 3 to 1 as the next three Pec. batters struck out.

Both teams managed to get two runners on base in the 2nd inning, but neither were able to bring them home. Then, in the 3rd, Pec took a slim lead thanks in part to J. Scoville's double, which earned him an RBI, and N. Loyd's triple for two RBIs. Defensively, Pec's catcher N. Gilbertson again played a key role by catching a foul-tipped ball. The two other outs of the inning were caught by shortstop D. Conwell and right centerfielder G. Daley, respectively.

In the 4th, Blackhawk went 3-up, 3-out, and Pec failed to score as well, leaving two runners on base.

In the 5th, Pec managed to squeeze in another run when N. Loyd walked to first, then proceded to steal second, third, and home on a series of wild pitches and passed balls.

In the 6th, Blackhawk would have its final chance to make up the 2-run deficit. The first batter, Rupnow, walked to first, then stole second and third on wild pitches, putting himself in scoring position. Meythaler and Goebel would strike out, but two others would reach base on balls. So, with two outs and bases loaded, the winning run stood poised on first. Pec's starting pitcher, J. Scoville pitched 3 strikes, no balls, to crush Blackhawk's hopes.
