Notes:
Sikich & Edsten (4) The Lightning lost in the semifinals against Fridley. After being down 8-0, they came back with a 5-run rally to make it a game. Fridley held on though and moved on to the Championship Game. Sikich (3 K, 2 ER) pitched well but his defense could not make the plays behind him. Edsten (4 K) did a great job in relief, keeping the team in the game. The offense only managed to get 3 hits- 2 from Sikich (2 bb) & 1 from Christian (r). The Lightning play for 3rd Place in the tournament and will send Woods (2-1, 1.75) to the bump. Sikich (L, 1-1) |
