Notes:
Woods, Edsten (4), Anderson (6), & Schul (7) The Lightning closed their weekend losing 15-7 to Rochester in the 3rd Place game. The Lightning were up 7-4 but Rochester scored 11 unanswered runs and the Lightning just died out. Their defense let down the pitchers by committing 6 errors, leading to 8 unearned runs. The offense was led by Christian, Sikich (2 r, 4 sb), & Velin (2 r, 2 sb)- all had multiple hits. The Lightning have an off day Monday and come back to play rival Eagan at home on Tuesday night. Eastview gave up 10 runs in the bottom of the 6th last time these two teams met. Higgins (2-1, 3.23) makes his return from the disabled list to start on the bump. Edsten (L, 1-1) |
