Notes:
The Renegades rebound and get their first GGBL win, with the benefit of two double plays (details later). Lucas started, going four innings with 4 hits, 1 BB and 6 Ks. Steven came on in the 5th, but was victimized by an error and a bunt single, and yielded to Clint who got out of the inning and finished the game allowing one hit, 2 BBs and 1 K over the last three innings. In the fifth, with the bases loaded and one out, Austin L took a chopper over the middle, stepped on second and fired to Ryan to complete the double play. In the seventh, Michael took a grounder at 2nd, flipped to Austin for the out, which he relayed to Ryan to complete the 4-6-3 DP. Michael had two hits and 2 RBI, while Austin L added a double and scored two runs. Brian had a single and a sac fly, and Parker, Steven, and Clint added hits, while Austin S & Clint scored the other runs. |
