| Game Notes: Seniors Jon Colgan and Zac Tiedeman led the way to a resounding opening game 13-0 victory. Colgan pitched 5 strong innings with 8 K's and no walks. Tiedeman had 6 RBI's, roping line shots around the park. The Vikes blew the game open in the 5th, scoring 7 runs, with Tiedeman hitting a baases clearing double, and Scott Mitchell (3 runs scored) narrowily missing a home run. Luke Robertson came in to strike out the side in the sixth, and Drew Moug closed out the 9th. Senior Alex Illsley had 3 hits, and Colgan scored 3 runs. | ||||||||||
