Game Notes: New Glarus #2 got off to a 2-run lead early by taking advantage of a couple of fielder's choices, a batter hit by a pitch, and a fielding error.

In the bottom of the 1st inning, Pec would take the lead thanks to a combination of hits, walks, stolen bases, and errors. N. Loyd, Pec's first batter slugged a high-flying triple to left field and later stole home to score the first run. J. Melvin hit a fly out to right field and reached first on an error. He then stole the rest of the bases to score the tying run. Then N. Gilbertson, who walked to first, stole second, would score the go-ahead run on a fielding error by New Glarus' shortstop.

In the 2nd inning, a New Glarus batter, hit by a pitch, would later score on a passed ball. Two other base runners were left stranded when the third out was caught by third baseman J. Scoville. With the game tied 3-3, Pec's batters began a rally that would take them through their 8-player batting order a couple of times. The first two batters walked, the third was hit by a pitch, and the fourth (J. Scoville) earned an RBI when he safely reached first on an infield grounder bobbled by the the New Glarus first baseman. With bases loaded, slugger D. Conwell knocked the ball way out to right field for a triple and 3 RBIs. J. Melvin's single brought Conwell across home plate. J. Hendrickson would earn an RBI on his double and J. Scoville would net 2 RBIs for his double. Then several batters again loaded the bases on walks just in time for N. Loyd to hit his second triple of the game for three more runs. He'd be left on base though as the next batter struck out, which was out #3. In all, however, Pec's 2nd inning rally netted 16 runs.

New Glarus #2 attempted to respond, but scored on one run when a base runner stole home on a passed ball. Starting pitcher, N. Loyd struck out two batters and another out came when shortstop, J. Hendrickson fielded a grounder and tagged a runner headed for third.

In the bottom of the 3rd, Pec's batting continued with G. Daley hitting a single, J. Hendrickson also hitting a single (for 1 RBI), J. Scoville earning two more RBIs on another double—his second of the game—and D. Conwell knocking the ball to the outfield fence for a homerun and 2 RBIs.

In the 4th inning, New Glarus batters faced relief pitcher, S. Swenson, who dashed their hopes with 2 strikeouts and a fielded grounder to first base.

The game was called in the 4th on the 15-Run Rule.
