It was a combination of great pitching and an offensive explosion that sealed the win on this night for Rye's Deli. Jason Vautour was masterful on the mound as he struck out six, walked four, and gave up a stingy five hits for a complete game victory. On offence it was Scott Nealis (3/4,HR,2B,1B,3Runs,4RBI), Mark Deveaux (2/3,HR,1B,BB,3Runs,2RBI), and Jason Vautour (4/4,2 Doubles,2 Singles,Run,2RBI) leading the attack. The team scored early with five in the first two innings of play and closed the game out with five more in the final frame. Ricky Colborne was hot at the plate as well going 3/4 with a double,2 Singles,1 run scored, and 1RBI! |
