Edsten & Henry (4) Eastview lost the second of back-to-back games against BV White 7-1. After a big upset in the noon game, Eastview came back flat and could not get anything going against Burnsville. They had only 4 baserunners all game and the Burnsville pitcher retired the last 13 Lightning hitters. Eastview hopes to turn things back around as they play their semifinal game against top seeded Eden Prairie. They lost to the Eagles 4-2 in the Final of the year's first tournament in Glencoe. Eden Prairie didn't lose their first game of the season until mid July. The Lightning send out lefthander Devin Dickson (3-4, 1.85) to the mound for his eighth start of the year. If Eastview wins, they are in the MSF State Championship Game! First pitch scheduled for 9am at the BVHS JV Field. Edsten (L, 0-3) |
