Game
Notes:
The Bad Boys lost another heart breaker. No, actually they sucked. Seven hits are a decent number. All by three players though. A Bad Boy baserunner was thrown out at home in each of the first two innings. After three errors in the top of the third led to three runs, the Bad Boys were looking up at a 3-0 deficit. "We played like crap!" said catcher turned second baseman Steve Putman. An error and four consecutive hits in the 5th would give Mis Tres Amigos all the cushion they would need at 6-1. The Bad Boys 6-9 hitters went a combined 0-13 with 7 K's. The Bad Boys are now hitting a meager .231 as a team and averaging 3.9 runs/gm while giving up 7.6 runs/gm. The few bright spots included Marc Grenon's 3-4 day, raising his average to .444, Brian Airey(0-1) who scattered 7 hits in 8 innings without walking a batter, and Travis Thomas who went 2-5 with a triple, SB, and a run scored. The Bad Boys record now stands at 2-5-1. Next up for the Bad Boys are the 1-5 Cascades whose lone win came in a 19-6 thumping of your Bad Boys. If you think you can hit a below average fastball, or field a pop fly while its still in the air inquire within.
