Notes:
The Pembroke High JV team remained unbeaten with a 9-5 victory over Hanover. Mike Sjolin started on the mound for the Titans going the first 5 2/3 innings before giving way for Justin Pugliesi to mop up the last 1 1/3 innings. Sjolin struck out 6 in the victory.
The Titans stormed out of the gates with a 5 run first inning off led by leadoff batter Justin Pugliesi. Pugliesi ripped a triple into the left center gap which ingnited a six hit inning. Sam Nagle, Sjolin, Rob Rozzi, Peter Trudeau, Dana Rosner, and Brian Gentile all had hits in the inning.
Nagle finished with 2 hits, 2 runs scored, an RBI and 2 stolen bases. Sjolin went 2-3 with 2 runs, an RBI and 1 stolen base. Rozzi also had two hits, 2 RBI, and 1 run scored. Trudeau and back-up infielder Conner Winn collected 2 RBI each with some clutch hitting.
The Titans looked to keep their winning ways when they face Middleboro on Wednesday and East Bridgewater on Thursday. Both games are at Pembroke High School. Rob Rozzi will get his second start on the mound this season on Wednesday.
