Game
Notes:
The Pembroke Titans JV snaped their winning streak today by falling to Middleboro, 11-2. It was a close game early (2-1 after 3 innings) but the Titans fell apart in the 4th inning. Middleboro chalked up 7 runs on 5 hits, and 5 walked in the inning. They sent 13 batters to the plate. Pembroke didn't help themselves by comitting 2 costly errors, including a pass ball that scored 2 runs.
The few bright sides in the game for Pembroke offensively were Ryan Martin and Peter Trudeau. Martin, in his first game back from illness, stroked two singles. Trudeau crushed a triple in the 4th inning and also had a single.
As Pembroke was trying to save arms for tomorrow's game, Coach Perec had to turn to relief from Sam Nagle, a 2nd basemen & left fielder, to pitch the last two innings.
The Titans will try to get back at it and rebound from their loss when they host East Bridgewater tomorrow. Shaun Gilliand will get the start for the 2-1-1 Titans.
