The Renegades went into Pickneyville Park and avenged an earlier loss to Norcross by beating the Blue Devils 7-4 on Wednesday night. Steven started the game, going four strong innings, allowing only 1 earned run with 4 Ks and 0 walks. Lucas pitched the final two frames, allowing no earned runs and getting the last two outs of the game on strikeouts. Drew was the hitting star, with two hits (one double), a run scored and 2 RBI. Steven also had two hits and an RBI. Clint had an RBI triple, and singles were tallied by Nick, Michael, and Lucas. Other solo RBIs came from Patrick and Michael. Clint gunned down a Norcross base-stealer in the first, and saw no other attempts to steal during his iron-man like performance in catching all six innings. |
