Darren Oskoboiny is our equipment manager and has lined up an alternate date for fittings if you can not make it Saturday. The alternate date is Wednesday the 24th at 6:00pm at United Cycle upsatairs in the Baseball department.

Parent Meeting: Tuesday April 16 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Vimy Ridge Gym. Player's meeting immediately after the parents meeting. Players need to bring gloves and bats.

We have applied for two tournaments this year. One for the Early Bird in St. Albert (May 17 – 20) and the other one in Sherwood Park called the Doc Plotsky (May 31 –June 2). Note because we are local to these two tournaments it is likely we will play Friday.

Players/Parents I was informed moments ago that the East Central Bulls have mercied the St Albert Cardinals 15-5. This means we do not play in the final. Lloydminster and Spruce Grove will play. Have a nice day off!

The rules for this weekend state that the home team will be determined by coin toss before the game. So, it is important that all players bring BOTH jerseys (black and maroon) to all tournament games.

Congratulations to Cory Scammell who was selected in the 35th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball amateur player draft by the Seattle Mariners. Cory an outfielder for the Edmonton Cardinals, attends St Francis Xavier baseball academy and is a member of Junior Team Canada. Scammell becomes the 7th player of the Edmonton Cardinals drafted.
