CINCO RANCH LADY COUGARS BASKETBALL NEWS ITEM

SUGAR LAND, TX---Cinco Ranch used a 21-3 first quarter to jump all over Dulles and improve to 2-0 on the young season Friday night. Sydney Thomas and Christy Williams each scored 7 points in the opening quarter to lead the scoring barrage. Cinco stretched their lead to 37-16 at the break and cruised in the 2nd half. All eleven Cougars scored on the evening with Emily Richard leading the way with 11 points and Williams adding 10. Shayne Ortiz dished out six assists, Taylor Williams had four blocked shots, and Megan Palmer had 7 rebounds.
