Columbus Lady Wings to Offer Free Military Youth Basketball Clinic at Fort Benning

COLUMBUS GA, March 1, 2012:  Columbus Lady Wings, Inc. Semi-Pro Women’s Basketball, in conjunction with Fort Benning Child, Youth and School Services Youth Sports Program, will offer a free military youth basketball clinic at Fort Benning, on Saturday, March 17, 2012. The clinic will take place at the CYSS Youth Center Gym (Bldg 1055, McIver Street, Fort Benning) from 1:00 until 3:30 p.m. 

This event is free of charge, but participants must register in advance. For registration information please call (706) 545-2079 or (706) 545-1853.  Registration deadline is Friday, March 16, 2012.  Space is limited, so please register your child early.  The clinic is open to children ages 8 to 15.

Columbus Lady Wings, Inc. is a semi-professional women’s basketball team, franchised with the Women’s Blue Chip Basketball League (WBCBL.)  The team is currently in preparations and training for the 2012 season.  The Columbus Lady Wings regular season begins in May 2012.
