| The Langley-Aldergrove Dodgers AAA squad took to the field for the first time ever on a cold, wet and windy Sunday. The Dodgers faced the Vancouver Mounties, a strong squad and perennial favourites in the Bantam AAA League, in a Sunday double header on Devon's Diamond. Despite sound pitching from seven different pitchers, the Dodgers failed to win either of the games. However, they showed well and improved throughout the day in what was the very first time they'd taken the field as a team. The coaches were especially proud of Sean Donnelly (injured) and Cole Cantelon (day to day with an ear infection) who braved the elements in order to cheer on their teammates. |
