The Langley-Aldergrove Dodgers dropped their first game of the Cloverdale Pre Season Jamboree losing 5-0 to the Abbotsford Angels.  The Dodgers had a slow start despite quality pitches from Ethan Kano McGregor and gave away a total of four runs over the first two innings by making uncharacteristic mental and fielding errors.  The squad settled in from the third inning on behind the very solid pitching of John Lipp and Bailey Roope.  Overall, Dodger pitchers held the Angels to 3 hits.  However, the Dodger bats were quiet throughout the day, with only Sean "Big Dog" Donnelly recording a hit (he reached base twice in his first outing after coming off the Injury Reserve List). Matthew "Sellie" Selinger was the only other Dodger to reach twice.
