However, the Dodgers were a different team on Sunday playing error-free defense behind the stellar pitching of Yi-Fan Pan. Pan, who went the full 7 innings for the win, gave up single runs in each of the 1st and 2nd innings, but had great command on the day and settled in for the rest of the game to shut down the hard hitting Indians.  When the Indians did get hits, the infield and outfield defence held strong and made the plays.  Every player contributed.   

On offense, the Dodgers banged out 8 hits and took advantage of 2 Tri City errors to come from behind for a 3-2 victory.  John "K-9" Lipp went 3 for 3 Sunday, Justin Arnold went 2 for 3, Ethan Kano McGregor went 2 for 3 with a double, and "Beatle" Bailey Roope went 1 for 2.  Roope was actually on base all three times as he stroked an RBI single in the top of the second inning, hit the ball hard to deep center field in the 4th to force an error that allowed 2 runs to score, and walked in the 6th.  In addition, Roope played great defence at short laying out several times to throw out runners and prevent runners from advancing.  His efforts earned him the Dirty Dodger award for the game.
