| In a game that had all the drama and build up of a playoff game, your Abbotsford Angels proved once again that they can overcome challenges and be victorious. The momentum shift began with an outstanding, high fly ball, on the run catch in left field by Jereymi in the bottom of the 6th inning. After that catch, the Angels closed out the inning. In the top of the seventh, Austen hit up the middle and was able to beat the throw to first to become our first base runner. This was followed by a walk to Tanner, putting runners on first and second. Jeremyi was next up. He hit an absolute "bomb" over the left-field fence. A three run homer to put the Angels in the lead. The Angels took the lead into the bottom of the seventh and proceeded to shut down the Tri-City batters with 3 consecutive outs. The pitching duo of Austen and Keaton were awesome. Final score Angels 7, Tri-City 6.
Next up: Cloverdale Red at Cloverdale Ball Park, Saturday at noon.
