Capital City came back on day two just as determined as the first. The offense came to play in the morning game, jumping out on top of the Las Vegas Hitmen and never looking back; winning the game 10-1 in five innings. Bret Moskal and Nick Choruby combined for five hits in barrage of offense!

The Sox needed a valient come back in the night cap to beat PCH Factory from Utah, which was fighting for their tournament life. Down 5-1 going into the 6th inning Capital City finally chased the starter from the game, and consecutive hits from Tucker Hamilton and Choruby brought the game to 5-4. Clayton Gelfand then walked with the bases loaded to tie it up, which was followed by a great AB from Conner Kahle, leading to another walk and giving the Sox the lead. Garrett Myers plated the last RBI of the inning giving Capital City the win and the #1 seed. Jordan Barchus pitched six gutty innings, striking out seven and allowing three earned runs.
