Once again the Cardinals lack of offence wasted great pitching performances by Graham Forrester, Bryden Gore and Garrett Krawchuk as the Cards fell 6-0 to the Muenster Red Socks. Forrester started the game going 4 innings, allowing 1 run in the first before closing the door for the n, while Gore pitched the 5 and 6th innings giving up 5 unearned runs. Krawchuk shutdown the Sock’s getting 3 pop outs to end the game. Once again the Cardinals could not get anything going with their bats leaving numerous runners in scoring position through almost every inning.
The Cardinals who are 2-3 in their last 5 games now face the Humboldt Dodgers who are looking to pick up their second win in a row in against the Cardinals.
