Tuesday’s game, between the Cardinals and Blue Jays, was postponed due to rain with no makeup date announced. The game was called after an inning and a half when the rain, falling with no end in sight, made the field unplayable.  Reid Britnell started the game pitching a scoreless inning allowing only one base runner ending the inning with a K and two ground ball outs to first.  Nolan Machibroda had a hit and stolen base, but the Cardinals failed to cash him in and the game was scoreless after one.  Bryden Gore picked up the ball in the top of the second finishing the inning with 2 Ks, allowing three unearned runs.

The Cardinals will be idle tomorrow before hosting the A’s on Thursday.

Fans holding paid tickets for Tuesday's game can use their tickets for the makeup game on the date to be determined, or exchange them for any remaining Cardinals regular-season home game, subject to availability. Exchanges must be completed prior to the date of the rescheduled game.
