The Cardinals continued their dominance of 5th region basketball by defeating Washington County and North Hardin on the road on consecutive nights. On Tuesday night, the Cards demolished Washington County for the third time this season, 88-57. Guard Quentin Goodin had a monster game, finishing with 27 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds and 5 steals. Forward Caleb Wigginton tallied 26 points and 7 rebounds while guards David Sloan and Ezra Oliver added 16 and 11, respectively. The next night, the Cardinals traveled to Radcliff to compete against the Trojans of North Hardin. The contest was intense and the Cardinals had to comeback from a halftime deficit. Goodin scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and Wigginton contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds as the Cards eventually pulled past the Trojans, 65-49. Sloan chipped in 13 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds. With the two victories, the Cards moved to 22-5 on the season.
