NUTANA: After four intensive tryout sessions, the Saskatoon Bantam AAA Cardinals have chosen their 11-man roster.  Using a different format than last year, the players were evaluated at Saskatoon’s best indoor baseball venues, Going Yard and Cameco Field.  The team will now begin preparing for the "Best of the West Tournament" which takes place in Kamloops from April 4 to 6, 2014.

Greg Krawchuck, has taken over the reigns from Darren Crilly as head coach for the Cardinals.  Crilly will remain as an assistant and will once again be joined by Ray Machibroda to round out the staff.  After a year off, Karla Crilly is back to manage administrative tasks.

When asked about the team, Krawchuk said “I am excited, we are returning 7 players and the kids we got coming in are solid. We have great positional versatility and I think were loaded with two-way players”.
