The Thunder seemed to be a little tired yet from the long weekend up in Mauston but were able to pull out a win Tuesday night 15-5 over Sussex. The team scored 4 in the bottom of the first. Sam Geldnich singled to start things and after a Jake LaVanway walk, Joey Spence deliver a 2 RBI single. That was followd by a Collin Dehne RBI single and a Trey Larson RBI double. But Sussex chipped away and eventually tied it in the 6th with 3 runs. But the Thunder woke up in the bottom of the inning and plated 10 runs to win by run rule. Evan Roell hit a huge 2 run homerun to give the Thunder the lead. That was followed by a Geroge Seaman homerun to deep right and the Thunder went back to back. After Joey Spence's 3rd hit of the game, Collin Dehne ripped a 2 run homerun to left center to give the team their 3rd homerun of the inning.

          On the mound, Evan Roell started and went 2 1/3innings striking out 2 and allowing 0 runs. Joey Spence came on and pitched very well also going 2 2/3 striking out 4. Collin Dehne pitched a 1/3 and Cal Karnitz went 2/3 for the win. At the plate, Joey Spence was 3-3 to lead the team. Collin Dehne, Trey Larson and Cal Karnitz each had 2 hits. Sam Geldnich, Evan Roell, George Seaman, and Dawson Rondorf had 1 hit apiece.
