MUENSTER, SK: On Thursday night the Saskatoon Bantam AAA Cardinals lost a heart breaker as the Jays walked off with a 4-3 win.  The Cards who held the lead for most of the game, following a two run round tripper by Nolan Machibroda in the third, could not shut down the Jays who scored the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the seventh.

On Sunday, the Cards split a double header with the Muenster Red Sox.  In the first game the Cards bats were silent as they got trounced 8-0 by the hosts.  In the second game, the Cardinals rode a solid pitching effort by Ryan Olchoway to defeat the Sox 9-6. 

The next action for the Cards is Wednesday night when they take on the A’s.
