Katy, TX----Cinco Ranch held Seven Lakes scoreless for over seven minutes in the 4th period to pull out a 45-38 victory on Friday night at CRHS.  The Cougars trailed for most of the game until knotting the game at 36 to start the final quarter.  The only Spartan bucket came with just 30 seconds left in the game as Cinco improved to 6-2 in District 19-5A.  Mayde Creek defeated Memorial, which sets up a showdown on Tuesday between the Mustangs and Cougars. 

Megan Palmer scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds, while Ashleigh Nwanguma added 9 points and a game high 15 rebounds.  Emily Richard provided a big spark off the bench with 9 points.  Anne Marie Zuilhof and Christy Williams applied the defensive pressure to shut down the Spartans top playmaker, Christin Inman, in the final period.  Inman finished with 16 points to pace Seven Lakes, who dropped to 0-6 all-time against the Lady Cougars.
