HOUSTON, TX---For the second straight day, Cinco Ranch came bursting out of the gates in the 1st quarter, racing out to a 23-0 lead and coasted to a 47-4 victory over The Woodlands Christian on Friday night at the Mustang Classic.  One day after setting a school record and allowing just six points to YES Prep SE, the Cougars barely let the ink dry in the record book and held the Warriors to just four points. 

Shayne Ortiz led the Cougars with 10 points on 4-5 shooting from the field and also dished out five assists and four rebounds.  Sydney Thomas and Megan Palmer each added 7 points.  Angie Moore controlled the boards with six rebounds.  Christy Williams had four assists. 

Cinco will take on Second Baptist on Saturday in the semifinals.  The championship game is at 7:30 Saturday night.
