The Southwest Outlaws are happy to announce the addition of Sam Baumgartner.  The big news came from the Southwest Barnstormers, who on March 10th announced they would not field a team in 2012.  With a strong connection to a majority of the Outlaw's current roster, Baumgartner was a no-brainer addition.  Baumgartner agreed to terms late Friday night after extended contract talks at the Teerink farm north of Worthington.  

Sammy will be an extremely versatile player for the Outlaws.  He can play all infield positions and also bolsters the starting rotation.   Bammy is also a very disciplined hitter and promises to be a mainstay in the top of the Outlaw's lineup.   Not only is Sam respected as a great ball player, but a better teammate.  This news only adds to the growing excitement as the days tick by until opening day!  WELCOME SAMMY!!!
