Both Rocker teams played awesome this weekend. At one point on Saturday the 14U girls were 3-0 while the 8U girls were 2-0 for a combined record of 5 WINS with NO losses. Each team only lost 1 game all day long and we had some very tired girls, but boy, are we proud of them!
Congratulations to the 14U girls for placing 4th out of 10 teams, and the 8U for placing 5th out 10 teams. Faith and I are very thankful to our assistant coaches for all their help. We couldn't do it without them!
I also want to thank our 8U dug out moms Amy and Christy for keeping the team spirit up. Because of your efforts the team was more efficiently managed than it has been all season. Your positive attitude was very effective in keeping up team moral and helping the girls to stay enthusiastic all day long.
To scorekeepers: Marleena (14U) and Sammie (8U), we are very appreciative of your dedication to a very important job that may seem to go unnoticed. THANK YOU!
To parents, family and fans: Thank you for showing such dignity and class this weekend while supporting the Chattanooga Rockers. You play a very important role in creating a positive atmosphere in which the girls can make great memories and have fun!
