| The Minnesota Frost went 4-1 in Ames, Iowa to finish second. The Frost suffered a tough 3-1 loss to the Iowa Sticks in the finals leaving the bases loaded in the last inning. However, the Frost also threw a no-hitter earlier in the tournament. Frost hurlers, Andrew Allen, Travis Conoryea and Nick Gibson combined to throw the first no-hitter in Frost history. The pitching staff was assisted by great plays from Jordan Peoples and Nick Wegleitner in right field, shortstop Joey Costa and left fielder Nathaniel Allen. |
