Woodland bounced back from a 3-1 loss to beat Washougal 9-1 and split a Greater St. Helens 2A Leauge baseball doubleheader Monday in Washougal.  Hunter Huddleston took the loss in Game 1, giving up three runs in five innings while striking out seven. Cy Whitmire was 2 for 3 at the plate for the Beavers (3-4, 1-1 in league).

In Game 2, Tanner Huddleson held Washougal to a single run and only four hits over six innings, walking none and fanning five. Whitmire and Dylan Wenger were each 2 for 4, and Colton Lucas was 2 for 2 with both doubles.  Woodland hosts Hockinson on Tuesday.
