| The Sullivan East Patriots beat the Happy Valley Warriors by the score of 3-1 on Tuesday night, to earn a trip to the regional tournament. Shane Sturgill threw a four hitter for the Patriots. East will now have to beat Unicoi County on Wednesday and Thursday night to be named Distsrict 1 AA Champions. The winner of the District 1 Champsionship will host a home regional game. Last season the Unicoi County Blue Devils hosted the Pigeon Forge Tigers at Baxter Field. |
