PROFILE

Tay's interest in softball was inspired by her sister, a catcher, and cousins, who played the game at both the high school and collegiate levels.

She began pitching at age four and jumped right in.

She has played for the Moundsville Recreational League, the Mountaineer League, Eastern Ohio League and the Pike League of Ohio County.

Prior to joining the Diamond Queens, she played for the Marshall County Stealers and the Liberty Ladies.

She has attended the University of Alabama Softball Camp, Jennie Finch Softball Camp and many softball camps in the Wheeling area.

Named MVP by her high school summer league, Tay is in her freshman year with the Wheeling Central Lady Maroon Knights Varsity Softball Team.
