Marcus was another 2nd Year player who stepped up into a leadership role in 2008. He assumed a starter's role on the mound in 2008 turning in some quality innings culminating in a 4-3 win over Rutland during the Provincials. A very good contact hitter, he also saw some innings at 1st Base when Ish is on the mound and behind the dish.
