Team Picture after taking 2nd Place in the Innagural Carver/Cologne Tournament
Hollander Notes:
So far the framing is far enough to start putting on the top row of plywood. It is actually starting to look like it is suppose to be a fence. For those of you not deer hunting this weekend contact either Jason, Kyle E. or Leiner about times to work this weekend. The weather should be fantastic to get even more of the fence completed maybe even close to done. Also, check out the pictures on the photo page showing some of the progress!!

Kyle Evenski

Most Improved Pitcher:

This was a great year for the Hollanders and each of the members on the team should be proud of the accomplishments that we achieved. Without everyone's positive attitudes and team first playing we would never have come close to what we did this year. Some firsts that we accomplished this year that we had not done in the past 10 years: more than 10 wins in a season, 5 league wins in a season, first playoff win since 2001, a four game winning streak, never lost more than 4 games in a row, scored 12 runs in one inning (Waconia), won by the 10 run rule (17-6 Waconia), went 3-3 vs. the Crow River Valley North teams, we also placed 2nd in the inaugural Carver/Cologne Baseball Tournament.
On a side note I would like to thank you players for making this final season of mine as manager the most exciting and fun season I was able to be a part of. I wish you all the best on the field and will continue to help out as much as I can with the behind the scenes stuff. You are definitely poised to make a big step forward on the field for the next couple of years, just stick together as a group and keep working hard. As for our fans, thank you for all your support over the years even in the not so good seasons, your presence makes it that much more fun to play on the field. It was awesome to have over 400 adult fans show up for our three game playoff series with Hamburg this year. I know that the boys will continue to keep things exciting on the field, so don't plan on missing a game next season. Again, thank you all for allowing me the opportunity to manage this club, I had a blast!!!
