9:45am for mandatory registration forms and fee payment.

Saturday May 9th.  SAP "D", second field on your left, closest to the County's maintenance building.

If you forget to bring cash / cheque then there will be an additional $10 charge when you come a second time.

fees are:

  - $30 if you were registered in 2025

  - $40 if you were not registered in 2025 - probably means you are a new player with us.

There are 43 field bookings between May 9th and Oct 17th.  Saturdays at 10 am and Tuesdays starting at 7 pm

Play starts when first 22 players are properly registered and are changed into soccer attire.

Contract finalized with the County, weather permitting will start:

Saturday May 9 10:00am
And
Tuesday May 12th 7:00pm.

Tuesday start times change the first tuesday in August  (6:30pm)  and again the first tuesday in September (6:00pm).

Our end dates will be Tuesday Sept 15th / Saturday Oct 17th.

43 matches.

Most matches will be at SAP.  Field "D" or Field "F" or Field "E". 
  - three exceptions will be at Estates of Sherwood Park.

Our schedule has been updated.

Fees last year were $30 returnees / $45 new players.  Same for 2026.

today is Friday April 24, 2026. Our soccer playing dates/times were booked early February.

I has just cancelled our two first bookings.

Our start date is Saturday May 9th 10:00am SAP "D" and then Tuesday May 12th at 7:00pm SAP "D".

I will send out a group email prior to May 9th. If your email has changed let me know (Saturdaysoccer1983@gmail.com).

Rainouts.  The County / Sherwood Park only closes the fields due to heavy rains.  Their approach, which has been evolving the past couple of years, is to leave the decision to us.

     -  fields are either classified as OPEN,

                                                       USER DISCRETION,

                                                       CLOSED

     -  OPEN or CLOSED is self-explanatory.

     -  USER DISCRETION means if we won't damage the field by playing on it then we may play.  Conversely, if damage is likely, we should not play.

advantage, if the fields are OPEN / USER DISCRETION and sun / temperature is not ideal - pretty good chance we will be closer to two teams then three.
