ABOUT US
GHAGBA was founded in 2001 in order to bring attention to girl's basketball by creating opportunities and promoting area talent. Since then, the organization continues to grow while connecting players and coaches. We provide scholarships for players, a forum for setting up games between houston area high schools, and host a yearly clinic and all-star game.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Greater Houston Area Girls Basketball Association is to promote girls basketball in the greater Houston area through honoring Houston area coaches, players, and teams for excellence on and off the court. We wish to provide a forum for the sharing of ideas and experiences related to the game of basketball to benefit all those involved with the modern progression of the game. We want to celebrate the progress in the process of coaching young women in the game of basketball and the game of life.
