Camas Papermakers defeats Evergreen after late game three-run home run, 7-5

Camas Papermakers and Evergreen exchanged the lead six times on Wednesday, but Camas Papermakers ended up on top with a 7-5 win in seven innings over Evergreen.
Camas Papermakers took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. Camas Papermakers went up for good on a three-run home run by Hunter Bruno off Jared Tomas, scoring Cameron Pierce and Sam Jones.
Bruno racked up five RBIs on two hits for Camas Papermakers.
Mckinley Lefore got the win in relief for Camas Papermakers. Lefore pitched 3 1/3 innings and allowed no runs.
Dawson Allen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 5 1/3 innings, walked eight and struck out none.
The top of the first saw Camas Papermakers take an early lead, 1-0. A double by Bruno, bringing home Jared Bentley started the inning off.
After a quick strike from Camas Papermakers, Evergreen responded with two runs in the first. Evergreen scored on a two-run error.
The key sixth-inning, four-run rally gave Camas Papermakers the lead for good.
