DBacks Continue Winning Ways Downing Giants 7-3

LEAKOS, SK: The Saskatoon Diamondbacks had a great game with the Saskatoon Giants last night. The score was 1-1 after 2 innings, and 3-1 after 4. The Dbacks scored 3 in the top of the 5th and added 1 more in the 7th to finish off the Giants 7 to 3.
Shane Soderberg started on the mound going 5 innings allowing 8 hits, 3 runs with 2 BB’s and 3 K’s. Graham Forrester shut things down going 2 innings allowing 1 hit with 3 K’s.
Offensively, the Dbacks were led by Cody Murfitt who was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI’s and Owen Lindberg who was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s. Carter Dahl was 2 for 3 while Eric Clauson was 2 for 4. Tyler Schlichemeyer was 1 for 2.
The Dbacks have won their last 4 games and are 8 and 2 in their last 10.
