Girls sectional wrap up

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GIRLS TRACK TEAM FOR FINISHING RUNNER UP AT THE 7A SECTION 1 CHAMPIONSHIPS!  Leading the scoring for the lady jackets was Freshman Audrey Woodard.  Audrey scored in the 800, mile , 2mile, and  ran a leg on the winning 4 x 800 relay. Rounding out the winning relay legs were Lexi Bolton, Hannah Porr, and Grace Salmon.   Grace also won a third place medal in the open 800 meters. Lexi was able to also score in the open 800m and the mile.  In the field events, Jennifer Dolan took home the gold in the pole vault with fellow vaulter Abby Clark finishing third.  Dolan also scored in the high hurdle final.   High jumpers Heavenly Davis and Holly Trinh punched their ticket to the state meet with a 3^rd and 4^th place finish. Senior Mimi Strain won the javelin with a new 101 foot pr while also scoring in the discus.  Newcomer Jayde Dempsey finished runner up in the shot put while teammate Madison Wallace scored in the shotput , javelin, and discus.  Finally senior Madyson Coleman had a huge PR in the triple jump to  finish third place.  Go jackets!
