On Thursday night the Bantam AA Royals completed their 18-game spring league play schedule with a game in Aldergrove. Darian Guemos got the start, and despite being the Royals' most reliable arm of late, struggled early and was replaced by Brody Clark in the first inning. Clark threw a very solid 5.1 innings of relief and picked up the win in an 8-7 victory. Dylan Cragg pitched the 7th inning to pick up the save.
The Royals finished the regular season with a 6-12 record, and now await the conclusion of league play on Saturday before the play-off matchups are announced. The play-offs will likely get underway on Tuesday, June 2nd.
