Geoff White- Head Instructor

As a player White has had tremendous success. From 2003 through 2005 White compiled Jamestown College career and single season records in wins, innings pitched, strikeouts, ERA, and opponent batting average. He is the first and only pitcher in Jamestown College history to throw a no-hitter (against #14 DSU, NAIA). Previous to his no hitter he had 4 no hit innings, and after, had 3 more, to have a 14 innings stretch without giving up a hit. He is one of a few JC players to have won, a conference title in every year at Jamestown College. He is three times an 1st Team All Conference Selection (DAC-10). In 2004, White went to the NAIA College World Series when Jamestown College posted a record 46-8 season. Over his three years he is a member of the most successful graduating class in Jamestown College history, with a 3 year record of 115-41 (.730). Also, away from College, White has had international experience, pitching with Team USA International in 2004 in Europe. After graduating with an Education and English degree in 2005, White coached for the summer with the Kelowna Falcons of the WCCBL. Starting the season as pitching coach, White was named Head Coach 1/3 of the way through the season. The Falcons went on to post their most successful record in 5 years. During that summer White also managed to pitch the final of the 2005 Sr Men's Provincials where helped the Nanaimo Coalminers to a provincial Championship. After being named an All-Region and HM All American in 2005, White landed a professional contract with the Edmonton Cracker-Cats. Terry Bevington, former Manager of the Chicago White Sox and third base coach with Toronto Blue Jays, signed White on December 20th, 2005. White went on to lead the Edmonton club in innings pitched (99 1/3)in 2006. He posted his first professional win against the Winnipeg Goldeyes in May of 2006. 2007 saw White return to Edmonton and sign an extension for 2007 season but was then released shortly after. White started the Okanagan Baseball Institute in fall of 2006. He has been instructing players since 2003. He currently is a player/coach with the Kelowna Jays Baseball Club.
