HEAD COACH JUSTIN REED

 Justin Reed begins his tenure as head coach of the Wildcats.  Reed, a Louisville native, previously served as an assistant coach at Louisville High School for the past two seasons.  His areas of responsibility included coaching the infield and hitters.  Prior to his returning to his alma mater, Coach Reed served as head coach at Nanih Waiya High School where he led the Diamond Warriors to back to back playoff appearances.

 Coach Reed is a 1999 graduate of Louisville High School, where he lettered in both football and baseball.  After graduation he entered East Central Community College in Decatur, where he played baseball for the late Jamie Clark.  At ECCC, Reed served as captain for the 2001 squad and received the Warrior Award.  Reed received as Associate of Arts Degree from East Central Community College and earned a Bachelor's Degree in education from Mississippi State University.

 He is married to the former Nikki Pearson of Louisville.  She is employed by the Louisville School District where she serves as a first grade teacher.  They have two children Lake and Emmi Rose.

 

 

 COACH CHAD GIPSON

 Coach Chad Gipson is entering his third season as a Louisville High School assistant baseball coach.  Coach Gipson will primarily be heading up the catching staff along with hitting instructions and other duties.  Coach Gipson also serves as an assistant football coach and physical education teacher at Fair Elementary School.

 Coach Gipson is a 2000 graduate of Smithville High School where he was a letterman in football, baseball, basketball and tennis.  He continued his athletic career on the football team at Itawamba Community College where he was selected to the 2001 MACJC All State team.  He finished his playing days at Belhaven College where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science.  He did his post graduate studies at Mississippi State University.

 Coach Gipson has been married for three years to Tawana Truelove-Gipson of Sulligent, AL.  She is currently employed as a registered nurse at Oktibbeha County Hospital.  They reside in Starkville, MS.

 

 Coach Tyler Peterson

Coach Tyler Peterson is in his first year with the Louisville High School baseball program.  He is excited about the team this year and being a part of the staff.

Coach Peterson is a 1997 graduate of Louisville High School.  He was the Quarterback for the 1995 LHS State Championship team.  Upon graduation, he attended the University of North Alabama where he was a 4 year starter as Quarterback.  He is a 2002 graduate of the University of North Alabama with a degree in Physical Education.

His coaching experience includes the Outside Linebackers at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in 2003.  In 2004, he returned to the University of North Alabama as the Running Backs Coach.  He was the Offensive Coordinator/Quarterback Coach from 2005-06 at the University of Arkansas, Monticello, before moving back to Louisville to join the Football Staff at Louisville High School.
